Mangroves are vast tracts of slow moving, brackish water overrun with trees and all types of vegetation. Dangerous to navigate due to the all sort of hidden creatures within the dark waters, and hazardous to health because of the myriad diseases and the risk of heat-stroke, only those who know the mangrove well ventures into it. However, it is also the source of food, fuel and raw materials for the many tribal villages surrounding it. And it is to their alarm when they found dead fishes, withered trees and stale pools of water within the mangrove. The tribal villages are edgy and want to get to the bottom of it.

An oasis is a life-saver for wanderers, traders and those who are simply just lost in the desert. However, there is one particular oasis which the nomads speak off with fear, and tell all others to avoid at all cost. Those who wander into the area around oasis, beautiful though it is and filled with bountiful supply of fruits, would never leave it again.

During days, vultures scavenged the dead; in the nights, the Charnel Moths come to finish up the work. Those carnivorous moths feed on the rotting flesh of corpses, usually travelling in swarms. Their dust, known as corpse dust, are a rare reagent used for nefarious alchemical mixture and as aid for some rather disturbing spells. As it is rare to come across a charnel moth (for dead moths are instantly devoured by their own kind, anyone coming across a live swarm rarely live to tell the tale), there are many things unknown about them.

The moment the adventurers step into the town, they would notice that something is amiss. Townsfolk seems to be talking to invisible people, hawkers selling rotten fruits but insisting that they are fresh and guides telling them about roads that don’t exist. Is the whole town mad, if that is possible?

The Skincloakers are a race of shape-changers, with the original form being a sleek and tall gaunt figure, with featureless, smooth and jet-black skin, and their face lacking any obvious facial elements. They could change their height and bulk, but there’s one thing they could not do, which is to have a face. Therefore they go lurking for victims, incapacitate them and using their sharp talons, skin their victims alive and wear their skin.

Another 10 more ideas for dungeons, and this bring us up to a total of 70.
- Garbage Dump. A place where the city dwellers deposit all their wastes, unwanted items and unwanted people as well.
- Giant Roaches Nest. I don’t think this one needs further elaboration. Home of giant cockroaches!
- Stacked Standing Stones. Think Stonehenge. Think of those stones stacked like a house of cards.
- Old Canal Systems. This city used to rely on canals for transportation, but the city has fallen into ruins, but the canal remains, and now acts as roads to reach one part of the ruins to another.
- Timestopped Crumbling Castle. This is a castle in the process of falling apart, as if an earthquake has struck it, but all its falling pieces have been frozen in time. Let’s hope the adventurers don’t do anything to deactivate the timestop
- Inside a giant plant where insects have taken up residence and small gnome-like creatures are harvesting ‘seeds’ from within
- A deserted army camp, filled with zombies soldiers who still believe that they are alive
- Mangrove with crocodile-infested water, islands which move the currents and the threat of diseases.
- In an alternate reality where wizards become better fighters and fighters become better wizards
- A ruined castle with invisible floors and walls. It looks partially ruined but actually it is whole; but would the adventurers care to walk on invisible floors?

The villagers who have lived there just avoid it; daring travellers would drop by to admire the size of the supposedly still statue and then leave. Scholars have studied the glyphs on the stone and think they are decorative, or otherwise undecipherable. The giant was found when an earthquake shook the region about five years ago, revealing a colossal giant of stone, humanoid in nature, buried into the side of the mountain itself. It is large – each legs is about the size of a guard tower. Then one day it moves, and begin to march across the countryside.

On one end of the realm, death regins. A whole stretch of vegetation and crops have withered, while numerous fell sick to all sort of illness. A smell of decay lingers in the air, and the number of the deads are uncountable. On the other end, there is a whole stretch of overgrowth. Calves are born with too many limbs, roots have sprung from the ground, crushing small houses and entangling castles. Paved roads are torn, travel is hindered and some even have died with trees growing through them. If one examines both stretches, they seem to be heading towards each other.

The earth is shaking; sinkholes erupted throughout the countryside, walls have fell and the foundation of castles shook. And this is in a region not known for earthquakes, and no one has taken any precaution. The losses are devastating, and there don’t seem to be an end to the sudden quakes. The adventurers, if experience enough, would be asked to find out the cause of the troubles. If they are relatively unexperienced, they may be drawn into it somehow, perhaps when they fall through one of the crevices.
