• Weapons of Woe 19.01.2009

On a casual glance, the Dreadwood Spike looks nothing more than a primitive sharpen piece of thick burnt wood. Unfortunately, there is more to this devious weapon. The wood itself is fossilized by fire called down by a shadow elementalist and has been cursed till this day. While it always does 1 less point of damage in combat, its wielder could tag its Petrifying Curse aspect to turn the victim it strikes to stone!

    FATE Stats
    Aspect: Petrifying Curse (Plot-Breaking!)

    Altered Fate Stats
Causes Less Damage (Fact, -1, Physical Damage), Petrifying Curse (Uncommon, +3 vs. Aura, Debuff)

    Dragon Warrior Stats
    Spear (2d4, 3 points)
If attacker strikes his foe with an even number-rolled, he is subjected to a Magical Attack of 13 or to be turned to stone. Dispel Magic and such removes the enchantment.
